Ed's Easy Diner at the Outlet Village has closed permanently.
Visitors wishing to eat at the restaurant today found a sign informing them of the closure.
The sign read: "We regret to inform you that Ed's Easy Diner is now closed and will no longer be trading with immediate effect.
"We apologise for any inconvenice caused."
McArthurGlen has been approached for comment but has not yet replied.
It is not yet known how many jobs have been lost due to this closure.
Earlier this year Boparan Restuarunt Group, which owns Ed's Easy Diner announced it would be closing 27 restuaraunts including some Giraffe sites which it also owns.
This followed the company entering a company voluntary agreement after both chains announced a combined loss of £1.6m.
