AN ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet in the town centre has closed its doors.
Tiffins in Regent Circus has stopped serving its Indian cuisine after its landlord UK Commercial Property Finance Holdings Ltd repossessed the restaurant.
Eagle-eyed shoppers spotted a notice on the doors of the eatery notifying would-be customers about the sudden shutting earlier today.
It said: "Take notice that the landlord has re-entered premsies in accordance with the landlord's power under clause 39 of the lease.
"As a consequence of the re-entry, the lease is forfeited and the premises have been secured."
This is the latest in a series of blows to the town centre. Ed's Diner closed earlier this week and today we reported that Cardmarket will soon be shutting up shop.
Regent Circus lost Gourmet Burger Kitchen earlier this year and the complex's sizeable Morrisons supermarket is expected to close before the year is over.
Starbucks and Argos left the town centre a few months ago and Thorntons will soon follow suit.
