THIS week 16 years ago was a busy one for Swindon animal artist Vikki Loeber.
She was preparing for a major exhibition at Stroud Museum.
Other stories during a diverse week included the 50th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, a young entrepreneur who had supplemented his pocket money by selling home-grown Halloween pumpkins and the death of a much-loved folk music stalwart.
Two Swindon people, Julianne Horgan and Leigh Payne, told us of their experiences aboard P&O cruise ship Aurora as a highly contagious stomach bug raged.
