ROBERT Buckland has reclaimed the South Swindon parliamentary seat with a boosted majority.
The Conservative candidate took 26,536 votes – representing a 6,600 majority.
Sarah Church for Labour received 19,911 votes – a 3,000 fall on 2017. The Lib Dems’ Stan Pajak increased his vote share, up from 2,079 to 4,299.
Turnout was 70 per cent, a 1 per cent fall compared to the 2017 election.

Robert Buckland (Con): 26,536
Sarah Church (Lab): 19,911
Stan Pajak (Lib Dem): 4,299
Total votes cast: 50,993
