SWINDON train station is closed after a person was hit by a train.
No passengers are being allowed into the station.
Due to a person being hit by a train at Swindon all lines are blocked. Disruption is currently expected until 17:15 25/02. ⚠

Three fire engines were at the scene from Stratton and Westlea and Swindon stations along with a British Transport Police unit and a private ambulance.
The Adver understands someone has died. A private ambulance left the scene around 5.10pm.
UPDATE: Stagecoach bus route 49: Swindon (Bus Station) - Trowbridge (Town Bridge), Stagecoach bus route 51: Swindon (Bus Station) - Cheltenham (Promenade) and Stagecoach bus route 55: Swindon (Bus Station) - Chippenham (Station) are conveying passengers until further notice.
