ROYAL Wootton Bassett Academy will be closed to year 8, 9 and 10 pupils today.
Headteacher George Croxford made the decision to partially close the school after members of staff or pupils were advised to self-isolate.
The school will be open today for Years 7, 11, 12 and 13 only.
An email sent to parents and carers seen by the Adver read: “We have staff in the vulnerable groups and staff with family members in the vulnerable groups.
“We also have families that are self-isolation.
“Please bear with us during this incredibly testing time. We are trying to provide our students with the best possible education.
“Please do not contact the school with individual enquiries as staff need to deal with the students who are here.”
