TWO teens were arrested in Penhill after officers found more than 100 wraps of suspected class A drugs.
Police visited an address in Inglesham Road to conduct a welfare check of the vulnerable occupant.
They arrested males aged 17 and 18, both from London, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
One of them was found to have more than 100 wraps of suspected class A drugs. Both had a quantity of cash.
PC Emma Rice of the dedicated crime team said: “Both of the males we located have since been released under investigation and enquiries in relation to these individuals are currently ongoing.
“As well as this, we will be seeking to obtain a partial closure order for the address in Penhill due to concerns involving the vulnerable occupant.
“Closure orders help us protect vulnerable people who may be being exploited by drug gang members – the orders, if approved by the courts, will mean that nobody other than the occupant is allowed inside the address and failure to comply with this could result in arrest.”
