A dad and his daughter were racially abused at an Iceland Food Warehouse supermarket, police said.
At around 11.50am on Sunday, June 28, a man in his 50s and his daughter, 20s, were shopping at the Barnfield Road store when a stranger made racist comments towards them.
The pair were said to have felt alarmed and distressed as a result of the verbal abuse they received from the man.
PC Will Saunders said: “This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our community.
“If you were in the shop at the time and think you may have witnessed this incident, please get in touch.”
Anyone who witnessed the abuse is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
