Detectives investigating the deaths of two people in Old Walcot say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the tragedy.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that a 41-year-old man and 37-year-old woman had died.
A spokesman said: “Officers are acting on behalf of the coroner and will prepare a file.
“We are investigating the circumstances and we currently not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
“We would ask that the privacy of other family members is respected.”
Officers had been called to Logan Close, Old Walcot, at around 8.30am on Saturday morning by paramedics from South Western Ambulance Service.
Three police forensics units could be seen outside the home on Saturday afternoon, while a door to the house was guarded by a police constable.
