It's not yet March but this pair of hares decided to get in an early boxing match.
The combatants were spotted by Swindon and Wiltshire Camera Club member Rachel Bennett who managed to catch some of the action.
Hares, which can run at up to 40mph, spend much of their lives alone. But when spring comes the jacks seek out the jills to mate. The boxing happens when a jill fends off a persistent suitor.
Out of lockdown, one of the best places in the area to see these beautiful creatures is the Marlborough Downs.
