River Island officially closes town centre store
Clothes shop River Island has officially closed its town centre store.
Signs have been put up in the windows revealing the news and workers were inside clearing out stock.
But the company isn't leaving the town entirely as it's set to open its new store at the Orbital Shopping Centre in north Swindon.
The new store is set to open next month but could be delayed if the national lockdown continues and non-essential retail remains closed.

A sign at the town centre store said: "This store is now closed.
"Exciting new store opening soon, Unit D2, Orbital Shopping Centre.
"We look forward to welcoming you soon."
