Firefighters are at the scene of a flat fire in Park North.
Around 30 firefighters from four fire stations responded to the emergency in a flat on Welcombe Avenue.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they received the emergency call at 10.13am this morning.
Fire appliances from Swindon, Stratton, Royal Wootton Bassett and Westlea fire stations are at the scene.

In a statement, the fire service said the fire started in a first floor flat. All the flats in the two-storey block have been evacuated.
Four people and a dog were rescued from the building by firefighters using a ladder.
"The incident is on-going, so we are unable to say anything further at this time; the cause of the fire will be investigated once it is fully extinguished," the fire service said.

Welcombe Avenue has been shut in both directions by the police.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "The incident is ongoing, and a cordon is in place at the scene. We ask that members of the public please avoid this area."
Plain clothes and uniformed police officers are at the scene.
