A CONVICTED sex offender will face a crown court judge next month after she admitted breaking the terms of her sexual harm prevention order.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, Alex Smith, 28, of Beaulieu Close, Toothill, pleaded guilty to a single charge of breaching the order on March 1 by failing to disclose a device for inspection by her offender manager.
District Judge Joanna Dickens sent the case to Swindon Crown Court for sentence on April 12. She ordered a pre-sentence report.
Smith, then known as Matthew Burren, was given a sexual harm prevention order in 2015 after she was caught with prohibited images of children a second time and admitted being in contact with children online.
In 2019, she was given a community order after she admitted deleting her internet browser history. She had a number of pornographic websites bookmarked on her PlayStation 4.
