The mysterious Banksy-style artwork in Old Town has been vandalised after just two days.
The black and white image of a boy, similar to those produced by the legendary urban artist, appeared on the wall of the abandoned Stagecoach bus depot building on Eastcott Road on Tuesday.
Now the image has been vandalised with purple graffiti tags sprayed over it.
A security van was sent to guard the artwork by owners of the building SN Developments yesterday but left at around 6pm.
In the painting, the boy holds a sign that reads "Wild £ man on the run. Heading for Bristol. Dodge News."
SN Developments has said it won't be commenting on the painting until it is or isn't confirmed as a Banksy.
