AN ALLEGED sex attacker has been remanded in custody by magistrates.
Nicholas Wells, 28, is accused of molesting a woman at night in Hudson’s Field on May 19, 2019.
Prosecutor Emma Charleton said Wells was a stranger to the alleged victim.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday afternoon, Wells, of Eyres Way, Salisbury, entered no pleas to a single charge of sexual assault by penetration.
Wells, who wore a black Addidas t-shirt, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address. He was represented by solicitor Nick Redhead.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Salisbury Crown Court on April 30.
