SWINDON & Wiltshire Pride will be hosting a free Easter egg trail for families to enjoy this weekend.
The trail will lead families to posters each containing a letter, all within safe walking distance around GWR Park.
Secretary Haylee Gatfield said: “With current restrictions many people have a new-found love for being outside and enjoying our local parks, so hosting the Easter trail at GWR Park is the perfect place to do this. It will be something fun for families to get involved in while abiding by current Covid restrictions. We want to thank South Swindon Parish Council for their support with the trail.”
Once completed, all participants need to do is solve the word challenge is to unscramble the letters and find the Easter phrase, then go to the Swindon & Wiltshire Pride website to submit the answer for a chance to win an Easter egg and a Pride bear.
The trail will help raise money for Prospect Hospice.
Pride chair Jo Sharpe added: “As well as the Easter trail we have organised online entertainment on our Facebook page, all in aid of raising funds for Prospect Hospice. The online shows kick off on Friday through to Sunday with local performers Pulse, Jase, Sarah Fusco and Penny Jane.”
The trail runs from tomorrow until Monday, closing at 6.30pm on April 7.
Anyone taking part is reminded to ensure they are Covid safe and abide by current government restrictions.
Search for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride on Facebook to join in and watch the shows.
