A MAN arrested in the wake of an armed police siege in Trowbridge remains in custody.
The 34-year-old from Yeovil was arrested at a house in the Longfield estate on Sunday afternoon.
It followed reports of a gun having been found after an alleged assault in Yeovil earlier that morning.
A police helicopter and officers from Wiltshire Police helped track a suspect to the property in Bramley Lane, Trowbridge.

On Sunday, Avon and Somerset Police said the 34-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, escape from lawful custody, assault and assaulting a police officer.
Today, the force has confirmed that the man remains in custody.
Another man, 32, arrested at the Trowbridge house on suspicion of obstructing police and assisting an offender, has been released under investigation.
