Pooches of Swindon are took their owners to the polls this week for the local elections - and here are some of their best pictures.
Dog owners up and down the country took to social media to post pictures of their dogs by polling station signs, with the hashtag #dogsatpollingstations
The tradition never fails to raise a smile on a day that is otherwise quite serious.
According to some, the trend can be traced back to the morning of the 2015 general election, when the first 'dogs at polling stations' picture was posted on Twitter.
Ever since, British voters have not disappointed, taking their dogs to the polls and posting snaps online.
Here are Swindon's best pooches at the polls.
