South West Forklifts have raised £5,080 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
As part of their efforts, the company refurbished a forklift truck in the colours of the helicopter.
The forklift is now at Gym Professor, who bought the truck, with some of the proceeds also going towards the fundraiser.
To boost the total, they also ran a charity raffle where entries cost £5 to be donated to the charity and entrants were entered in with a chance to win a daring aeroplane wing walk, which was won by Peter Saunders from TBT Marketing in Frome.
Organiser Lee Hawkins says, “We’re pleased with the response. It’s one of those charities that people are happy to donate to because we all could need it one day."
“We just wanted to do something different and we spoke to the Air Ambulance and they do wing walks for sponsorship. We wanted it to stand out a bit.”
The fundraiser is still open. To donate, visit gofund.me/2ed70cf5
