A 15-year-old boy had his electric bike stolen in Park North.
The teenager left his bike outside for around 10 minutes in Kenton Close, when he heard noises from outside and went out with his girlfriend to find a stranger with his bike.
The incident happened on Saturday at around 5.45pm.
He said: "We heard someone walking up the front drive and checked outside to see someone stood by the bike.
"When he noticed us, he asked if it was our bike.
"When we said it was, he said that it was not and said that we were lying and went off with it."
The suspect is described as wearing a dark blue shirt with dark grey jogging bottoms and looked around 16-17 years old.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We received a report of a theft of an electric bicycle in Swindon over the weekend.
“The black bike, which had green and white stripes on it, was stolen from a driveway in Kenton Close at around 5.45pm on Saturday.
“Anyone with information should call us on 101, quoting crime reference 54210074489.”
