A car crashed into a lamppost on Cricklade High Street at approximately 5am.
AN 18-year-old man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a lamppost on Cricklade High Street.
Fire crews from Cricklade and Stratton St Margaret were called to the scene at 5am today to find the driver trapped in his car with his ankles caught underneath the pedals.
He was cut free at approximately 5:45am and taken to hospital for a precautionary check up.
The High Street was closed following the collision but later reopened.
