The Swindon results after the first round of counting in the re-run of the police and crime commissioner election show Conservative Philip Wilkinson in the lead with 9,172 votes.
Independent Mike Rees has 6,681, Junab Ali for Labour has 6,970, Liberal Democrat Brian Mathew has 2,114 and Julian Malins of Reform UK has 539.
The election had to be re-staged after former Conservative candidate Jonathan Seed was disqualified because of a historic drink-driving conviction.
