TOWN fans are being urged to take Covid safety precautions when attending today's home game.

The County Ground will be welcoming hundreds of people into the stands for Swindon Town FC's big match against Mansfield Town this afternoon.

A Swindon Borough Council spokesman said: "Going to the Swindon Town Football Club game today? 

"Remember to do your part to tackle Covid-19. We’re encouraging supporters attending the match to stay safe and wear masks when inside and in crowded areas as well as washing hands or sanitising as often as possible. 

"Please enjoy the day safely."
