Children have donned their new uniforms - with a little room to grow - packed their school bags and headed off to lessons as the new term gets under way.
For some it’s going to be their first time at primary or a move up to secondary school.
It’s been a challenging year for pupils, parents and staff in the pandemic.
But the start of a new school years is always a momentous occasion and the Adver wants to share in it with a gallery of your back to school pictures.
As well as inviting proud parents to send in pictures of their children we want to feature traditional reception class photos online and in the paper.
Editor Pete Gavan said: “It’s always a big moment when the schools go back and we want to celebrate that, so make sure you send us your pictures so we can feature them in our supplement.
Photos should only be of children whose parents or carers are happy for them to appear and class pictures need to include the names of the school, class and teacher. They must be images that are free to be reprinted and not copyright.
Visit swindonadvertiser.co.uk/firstdayback where you can submit your pictures.
