A Forget-Me-Not Cafe providing a free friendly and comfortable space for people living with dementia will be held in Highworth.
Families living with dementia are invited to attend the event at Highworth Community Centre on Wednesday, October 27 at 2pm.
There will be the opportunity to speak with or be signposted to support workers, health practitioners and advisers to get to know others with similar experiences.
There will also be tea, coffee and cake, as well as musical entertainment provided by Brian Slade, who will be performing a ‘music and memories’ selection of songs from across the decades.
Anybody with questions – including transport and access to the centre – should email forgetmenot.highworth@gmail.com or call Ruth on 07970 543423. There is plenty of parking and wheelchair access is available from the lower car park to the rear of the building.
Future dates for the cafe are November 24, and December 22.
