Several motorway closures will affect drivers using the M4 this weekend, according to National Highways.
This is mainly because of repairs on the M4 which are being carried out overnight across the weekend.
If you are set to be travelling along these areas at that sort of time, then take note of what diversions will be in place.
Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, October 22 to Monday, October 25.
What are the M4 closures this weekend?
M4 Eastbound
Junction 5 to 4B
The M4 will be shut eastbound between Junction 5 and 4B from Friday October 22 from 23:00 to Saturday 23 at 05:30.
This includes both the carriageway and entry slip road.
The road will then be closed again between 22:00 on Saturday 23 and 05.30 on Sunday 24.
It will remain open until 22:00 that evening when it will close overnight again until 05:30 on Monday October 25.

The motorway is closed due to ongoing smart motorway works.

Drivers should look for diversions via the Highways England network and Local Authority roads.
M4 Westbound
The M4 Westbound from Junction 4B to Junction 5 carriageway and link road will be closed at night across the weekend.
The closure starts from 23:00 on Friday 22 with the roads reopening at 05:30 in the morning on Saturday 23.
This pattern will continue on Saturday night when the road closes at 22:00 and reopens at 05:30 on Sunday morning (October 24).
Prince of Wales Bridge closure
The Prince of Wales eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from Friday October 22 from 21:00 to Saturday October 23 at 06:00.
The closure also includes the westbound safety lane.
Why is it closed?
The bridge is closed for overnight maintenance.
Are there any diversions?
Drivers can use the M48 Severn Bridge instead during the closure.
M25 Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise
M25 Jct 15 to M4 Westbound Jct 4B
Between 23:00 on Friday October 22 and Saturday October 23 05:30, the M4 will be closed westbound between the M25 Junction 15 and M4 Junction 4B.
The roads will be reopened during the day but will later close again from 22:00 on Saturday October 23 until 05:30 the following morning (Sunday October 24).
This will affect access to both the carriageway and the link road.
On Sunday evening, the roads will be closed again from 22:00 on October 24 to 05:30 on Monday morning (October 25).
