FREE ice skating sessions at the Link Centre are on offer for children and families in Swindon.
The initiative is part of a partnership between webuyanycar.com and British Ice Skating, which hopes to inspire talent in the sport and give families the chance to try a fun activity together to kick off the festive season. It runs until December 5.
The event is open to children aged up to 15 years and any assisting adults. Free ice skate hire will be available.
In addition, there will be a competition which will reward 16 children across the country with a year's worth of ice skating lessons, five six-week introductory courses and 10 ice skating equipment bundles.
British Ice Skating’s CEO Michelle Draper said: “We strive to ensure that as many people as possible across the UK can enjoy our sport.
"We hope that those given the chance to feel the joy of gliding on the ice will want to keep returning to their local rink.”
