Cleaning up after Christmas is no mean task especially when there are changes to your regular bin collection in Swindon.
As we count down to Christmas, the rubbish is already starting to pile up from awkward cardboard boxes to discarded wrapping paper and far too many food wrappers.
The nightmare after Christmas comes when you realise there are no bin collection services running and the rubbish is piling high.
Here's when your bins will be collected over the festive period to save you the headache.
Waste and recycling collections will be continuing as normal over the Christmas and New Year period. 🎅♻️

Bin collection days in Swindon over Christmas
Swindon Borough Council says that there will no changes to your bin collection schedule over the Christmas period.
This is because Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day fall on weekends this year.
The council is asking you to put your rubbish and recycling out by 6.30 am on your normal bin day where their crews will collect it as normal.
The crews will continue to collect clinical and food waste if you also receive these collections.
If you're not sure what day your bin collection is, consult Swindon Borough Council's collection calendar.
You can also see when the Swindon household waste recycling centre will be open over the festive period in our rundown.
