FOUR men are in custody after being arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs in Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett.

Police from Operation Fortitude and the area's community policing teams raided several properties yesterday.

Matteo Crossman, 18, of Mazurek Way in Haydon End has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of criminal property, cannabis and an offensive weapon. He has been remanded to prison until January 14.

Jacob Doyle, 22, Loughborough Park in Lambeth, London, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and possession of criminal property and has been bailed until the same trial date.

A 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property, and a 17-year-old man arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, both from Swindon, have been released with conditions pending further enquiries.

A partial closure order has been authorised for an address in Moredon to tackle criminal activity in the area.

The order was made at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Friday for a house in Bourne Road and will last for three months.
