ACCIDENTS around Swindon are causing heavy traffic on the A419.
There are reports of queueing traffic due to an accident on the A4312 Slade Drive at Greenbridge Roundabout, in the roadworks area near Oxford Road. Congestion to surrounding routes including the A419, and the A420 coming in from South Marston.
Traffic is heavier than normal on the A361 Southbound between Supermarine Road and the A419.
Drivers are reporting long delays on their journeys near the Honda junction and along the A419 itself.
Four-way traffic lights at the Bridge End Road, Grange Drive and Ermin Street double roundabouts are causing long tailbacks in all directions.
The A3102 Swindon Road is partially blocked, with very slow traffic due to broken down car near the Sally Pusseys Inn. Congestion tailing back to the M4 J16 roundabout heading into Wootton Bassett. The breakdown has been affecting traffic since before 5pm.
A lane is closed on the exist slip road of the M4 Westbound due to a broken down vehicle at J16 A3102 Swindon Road (Swindon West). Lane one (Of two) is closed. Traffic is bad on the A3102 down to Salley Pussey's Inn due to another breakdown.
