CHART-TOPPER James Arthur will be performing at this year's MFor Festival.
The hitmaker known for Say You Won't Let Go, Trainwreck, Medicine and Lasting Lover is the first act to be announced for the day of live music at Lydiard Park on July 30.
As well as watch James perform successful singles and new tracks from his fourth album It Will All Make Sense in the End, festivalgoers can enjoy family-friendly fun and games as well as support veteran, military and mental health charities.
Plus, the Happy Mondays, The Farm, and Space will be performing at the adults-only Friday Night Sessions concert on Friday July 29.
Mfor organisers Graham Stobbs and Debra Collins are looking forward to welcoming hundreds of music lovers to the festival and have learnt lessons from last year's issues with WiFi, card payment systems, and long queues for the toilets and bar.
They said: “We’re delighted to confirm our first artist for Saturday’s Mfor event. We can’t wait to get back to Lydiard Park and put on our best event so far.
"We have listened to feedback from last year and will be making sure the bar and facilities are all set and ready to welcome partygoers for the whole event.”
More live acts will be announced in the coming months.
The 2022 event will support former military servicemen and women and raise awareness of mental health issues, so fundraising will take place on Saturday for charities including Walking with the Wounded and Swindon community projects such as The Veterans Hub Swindon.
