Coate Water's story trail has now gone digital meaning families can enjoy it with just a smart phone.
Swindon Stories announced the new update on Coate Water's story trail on Facebook.
"We are delighted that the story trail has now been digitised, meaning that families, carers and early years settings across Swindon can take part in the trail whenever.
"It is super simple, all you have to do is have a charged digital device, download the story trail, head to the park and enjoy the trail with your little one."
Installed as part of the National Literacy Trust's Hungry Little Minds campaign in June 2021, it was one of 12 added to local parks and lakes across the country.
It was launched in partnership with Swindon Stories and the borough council, with the bespoke theme of shipwrecks and swans.
The trail is based on a story written by children’s author Rebecca Lewis-Oakes and illustrated by Aaron Cushley and it leads families around the local park as they follow the adventures of Uncle Josh, Mia, Kai and their dog Scruffy.
