Two C-17 Globemaster aircrafts departed RAF Brize Norton this weekend to make the journey to Poland.
The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is a military transport aircraft designed to carry cargo and troops quickly.
One of the planes has been flying to Rzeszów in Poland and back every day since March 1.
Rzeszów is around 100km from the Ukrainian border and has become a "green corridor", according to EURACTIV.
The city's mayor Konrad Fijołek told EURACTIV: “We have created a green corridor together with the Ukrainian government which means that the supplies that are brought to us are transported straight to Ukraine."
On Saturday morning, one of the planes with call sign RRR6728 took off from RAF Brize Norton at around 7.45am, flew over Royal Wootton Bassett and landed in Rzeszów. The same aircraft made the journey back to Brize Norton at 2.25pm that day, flying over Highworth.
The other C-17 Globemaster left Brize Norton at 11.13am today, circling around Cirencester before landing in Rzeszow.
The RAF website says: "The C-17 Globemaster III (Globemaster C-17) is a longrange, heavy-lift strategic transport aircraft that can operate close to a potential area of operations for combat, peacekeeping or humanitarian missions worldwide.
"C-17 is capable of rapid, strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases anywhere in the world."
