A huge amount of firefighters and other emergency services converged on MOD Lyneham for a 'multi-agency training exercise.'
The training, which also included Wiltshire Police, South West Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, Avon Fire & Rescue and Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue, took place two weeks ago.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue posted some behind-the-scenes pictures of the emergency drill.
Students from Swindon New College also took part by role playing as civiilians during the exercise.
"This venue allowed us to practice our immediate operational response to large scale emergencies. This training exercise is one of many that we run each year across Dorset and Wiltshire as part of our preparedness for large multi-agency incidents
"We would like to thank the Rapid Relief Team UK for looking after everyone and to the students from Newcollege Swindon Wiltshire for being our role players!"
