Wiltshire Police have issued an update regarding an alleged motorbike theft in Swindon, following numerous sightings of the stolen vehicle.
The incident happened on March 23, when two thugs broke into a property on Arabian Avenue, just after midnight.
Within minutes the suspects left with the 2020 Sherco SEF factory enduro bike.
Jack Groves, 32, caught the culprits committing the alleged crime on his ring doorbell camera.
Speaking to the Adver not long after the incident, Mr Groves said: “My wife is scared to sleep now, she's a nervous wreck. We have a 2-year-old that sleeps in a coach house so if they wanted too they could just walk into the house, but luckily the door was locked.”
Since the incident occurred, numerous sightings of the motorbike have taken place during the last few weeks.
On March 23, the vehicle was spotted at the junction of Wootton Bassett Road and Redposts Drive at 11:44am.
Other rumoured sightings of the motorbike include Marlowe Drive, Thamesdown Drive and the Manor Farm pub.
Yesterday the vehicle was spotted on dashcam footage driving recklessly on Redbridge Drive, towards the junction of Wootton Bassett Road.
Now, Wiltshire Police have issued an update regarding the investigation.
A spokesperson for the constabulary said: "We received a report of a burglary in Arabian Avenue, Swindon, just after midnight on 23 March, where a motorbike was stolen.
“As part of our investigation, we issued a witness appeal on social media that same day and have been following up a number of lines of enquiry.
“We are aware of a number of potential sightings, and these have been followed up, including ensuring local officers have a photograph of the stolen motorbike for their proactive patrols.
“The investigation is currently ongoing and we would urge anyone with information to report it to us via 101, quoting crime reference 54220029680.”
