MORE road closures are planned on the A419 and M4 near Swindon in the coming days.

The full eastbound exit sliproad will be shut for Junction 15 improvement works from 8pm on April 19 to 6am on April 21, causing delays of up to 30 minutes.

The Commonhead roundabout entry slip road will be completely closed at the same time, with traffic diverted to the A420 junction.

Survey work will close one lane of the M4 eastbound between junctions 16 and 17 from 8pm on April 29 to 6am on April 30.

One lane of the westbound entry sliproad at junction 15 as well as one lane of the westbound carriageway between junction 15 to 16 will be closed from 9pm on April 25 to 4am on April 26 for junction 15 improvement works.

The A419 southbound will be shut from Spine Road to the junction for Cricklade for structure inspections which will last from 8pm on April 27 to 5am on April 29. This will cause delays of up to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, ongoing roadworks will continue on the busy highways.

Junction 15 improvement works have closed one lane of the A419 southbound and northbound from Commonhead to Junction 15 of the M4 as well as one lane of the M4 westbound and eastbound exit sliproads to J15 until 6am on April 29 while improvement work is carried out.

The A346 is closed at the Junction 15 roundabout is closed for structure maintenance until 6am on May 5.

Barrier works are closing various lanes in both directions of the M5 between Junctions 15 and 16 until 6am on May 21.
