A THIEF stole an Amazon van in Old Town and fled with customers' packages.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following the theft of a dark blue Amazon van on Bath Road, near the junction with Okus Road, at around 2pm on Tuesday April 19.
The criminal abandoned the vehicle on William Street and stole packages which the online retailer's customers had ordered.
A police spokesman said: "If you witnessed this incident, have dash cam footage that might be helpful or have been offered items you suspect may have been stolen from this vehicle, please call us on 101 quoting log 54220039828.
"Alternatively you can leave information anonymously by calling CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111."
