A SWINDON 11-year-old moved the Britain's Got Talent judges to tears with his performance as part of dance group Fivestar Boys.
Ollie Loveday, from Shrivenham, and four other schoolboys from across the UK including Toby-Jay, Beau, Adam and Joey took to the stage on Saturday's episode with a powerful anti-bullying contemporary dance performance.
And it was one that prompted a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, together with the audience.
Before performing on the group said: "We're trying to spread the word for boys who dance, because it's not always easy for us, we get bullied.
"We just have to say to ourselves we know we're better than them.
"Boys can dance if they want to it's not going to affect anybody else, they're just people that are jealous of you."
The performance, set to 'You Will Be Found' from the musical Dear Evan Hansen, saw Ollie slowly become part of the group of boys, eventually being given a jacket worn by the rest of them at the end of the dance.
This earned the give dancers a standing ovation from the four judges would then go on to praise them for their performance and message.
Amanda said: "Oh my god, you've reduced me to tears, I thought it was an extraordinary piece and you should feel enormously proud of yourselves because it was beautiful."
"You guys are perfect, it was sensational," said David.
Simon rounded up the judges comments with: "wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, there's just something about you. I know this is tough with what you told us but I promise you stand there now as five strong boys who can say to all of those idiots 'you can't do what we just did'. For me this is the best audition we've seen all day."
After securing four yeses the boys are now through to the next round and said if they won the whole thing they would book a flight to Disneyland and also give the money to people who need it more than them.
Ollie comes from a dancing family as his mother, Shona, teaches at the Swindon-based Julie Scott's Dance Academy.
