TOP authors of bestselling books will be popping into Swindon's independent bookshop over the weekend.
Bert's Books opened a brick and mortar branch in Old Town last month after selling its wares online only for years.
To kick off Independent Bookshop Week, staff will be welcoming CL Taylor, Joanna Cannon and Sarah Winman to the Godwin Court store.
CL Taylor wrote the tense crime thrillers The Island, Sleep, and Her Last Holiday. She will be meeting fans and signing copies of the Sunday Times bestselllers and Richard and Judy Book Club picks - as well as offering new book The Guilty Couple five days before it goes on sale - on Saturday from 12pm.
On Sunday, Joanna Cannon will be stopping by from 10.30am. The author of The Trouble With Goats and Sheep, Three Things About Elsie and A Tidy Ending will be trying her hand as a bookseller for the day.
Next Monday, the writer behind Still Life, Tin Man, When God Was A Rabbit, and The Year of Marvellous Ways will visit the shop from 11am.
Signed copies of books from each author will be available online for those who can't attend.
