THE Red Arrows will be flying over Wiltshire twice in the next two days as they travel to air shows across the south west.
People around the county will be able to catch a brief glimpse of the famous aircraft team, though the jets will probably not be performing any tricks along their route.
They have been entertaining visitors at air shows and royal celebrations since 1965, with a rotating cast of flyers racking up almost 5,000 performances around the world.
The Military Airshows website suggests the Red Arrows will fly over the South Cerney area just after 3.42pm on Friday before heading to Royal Wootton Bassett and reaching Winterbourne Bassett within the next two minutes.
While on the way to Somerset, the colourful aircraft will then head towards Somerset, soaring over Calne, Melksham and Trowbridge before 3.51pm.
On Saturday they are due to perform at the Wales National Airshow and Teignmouth Airshow. While returning to RAF Brize Norton, they will pass over Glastonbury at 7.38pm then fly west of Trowbridge at 7.40pm and soar above Melksham and Calne before reaching Broad Hinton at 7.44pm.
They will then travel north over Royal Wootton Bassett and Ashton Keynes before 7.46pm.
