Tributes have been paid to "wonderful" dad and grandad killed in a motorcycle crash on the A419.
Mike Allen, 40, of Wroughton died in an accident on the busy road near Blunsdon this month.
In an emotional event in Mike's honour, members of the Swindon Bikers Group came out in force to pay tribute to their friend, with 156 bikes joining the convoy.
The bikers congregated at Greenbridge Retail Park before the group rode down Gipsy Lane and finished their route at the County Ground.
After a two-minute silence balloons were let off by Mike’s family, which brought a huge round of applause.
Mike worked as a service manager for Fish Brothers in Bridgemead.
He rode a Honda CBR 600f and had been a member of the Swindon Bikers Group for many years.
His son Thomas Allen, 21, said: “He was a wonderful father to my brother and my sister and an amazing grandfather to my daughter.
“He was a working man, a simple man, taught me the lessons I needed to learn as a father should do.
“I appreciate everyone who came out today, I wish everybody to stay safe out there, and keep their families close. Rest in peace dad - I love you forever.”
The organiser of the Swindon Bikers Group, who wished to remain anonymous, talked about how he got to know Mike.
He said: “I met Mike last year after I put of pair of boots for sale online.
“Mike said he will have them, picked them up and then I told him about the bike meets.
“I always organised a bike meet on a Wednesday evening and Mike was one of the regulars that you could count on.
“He was a genuinely friendly guy and always made the new people feel very welcome and will be sorely missed.
“Loved and respected by all. Ride free Mike.”
A two-minute rev-off was held before the release of the balloons.
“Everyone shut their engines down, there was a huge round of applause and cheers," the organiser said.
“We all stood there for 25 minutes watching these balloons, they stayed in the distance for ages.
“What was nice was that they flew over in the direction of where the family lived.”
In an update, Wiltshire Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the crash shortly after 8pm on July 6.
Swindon Bikers have launched a crowdfunding page to support the family.
So far £410 has been raised with the fundraiser only going live on Wednesday.
