BOXER Jamie Cox has denied hitting a man in a nightclub brawl.
Cox, 21, of Buckthorn Drive, Woodhall Park, appeared in the dock charged with assaulting Adam Osbourne in a town centre nightclub on June 2, 2007.
Appearing at Swindon Crown Court yesterday, Cox pleaded not guilty to the allegation.
Judge His Honour Douglas Field granted Cox unconditional bail.
The Commonwealth gold-medal winning boxer was told to return to the court for a trial on April 8.
