THE Advertiser is looking to start an exciting new web project, aimed at putting the community at the heart of the news.

Your Stratton will be for the use of all members of the community in Stratton - voluntary groups, Scouts and Guides, schools, the WI, Neighbourhood Watch anyone can get involved.

Even if you are not a member of a group, don't worry - individuals are welcome too.

The site would sit within the Swindon Advertiser site and be a place for people in the community to put their news, views, photographs - anything that's important to them.

So if you're a keen photographer, are organising a charity fete or are concerned by issues in your neighbourhood, you can add your items to the site from the comfort of your own home.

Eventually, we hope to cover all areas in and around Swindon.

To explain more about the project, the Advertiser is holding a meeting at Meadowcroft Community Centre on Wednesday, February 27 at 7.30pm.

So if you'd like to find out more, do come along. Everybody is very welcome.
