CHURCHFIELDS School will be helping pupils across the country to reach their full potential.
The Salcombe Grove school was filmed for a promotional clip which will be screened on Teachers TV.
The educational channel commissioned a production company to visit Churchfields after Year 7 teacher Stephanie Collins produced a case study on how to help low attaining students reach their potential.
Stephanie said: "The school was completely behind the idea and everyone's had a very positive attitude about it.
"The kids were really excited and were talking about becoming movie stars. It was quite good."
Year 7 pupils recreated a science lesson on the relationship between the sun and the moon for the TV crew as a way of promoting good practice in classrooms.
Paul Davies, producer for TV Junction, said: "We were commissioned by Teachers TV to shoot this clip for them.
"We've been to tens of schools doing clips about various things and this is such a unique concept. We've never done anything like this before."
The pupils also enjoyed their time in front of the camera.
Remy Thelwall, 12, said, "It was really good fun. I was excited and enjoyed the project. I hope we do more things like this in the future."
Thilakshini Sasitharan, 12, said, "It was quite exciting. We've never done anything like this before. I had a great time."
Faisal Rahman, 11, said, "I like the stuff that we did. It was different and we got to be on TV and be famous."
