CRYING boy Wayne Rose has been given his third Asbo.
Rose, 28, pictured, who is notorious for trying to con the people of Swindon with his sob stories, was handed a new interim Asbo banning him from begging.
Swindon Magistrates' Court gave Rose the interim order banning him from asking strangers for money or begging in Swindon until April 26.
Rose was given a previous interim Asbo, lasting three months, in November, after he was accused of pleading for money from strangers. He said he needed it for a rail ticket to get to Reading, as he was escaping an abusive stepfather, because he had a sick mother or to visit an aunt. On one occasion he was reported to have asked for money so he could visit a dying uncle in Chippenham. In 2005 Rose was given a two-year Asbo.
Swindon Council anti-social behaviour co-ordinator Cheri Wright said: "The point of this order is to try and curb this type of behaviour. Wayne's begging has been a nuisance to a lot of people. If he continues to beg and breaches the order, he faces arrest and jail and we will then be seeking another full order."
