ORGANISERS of a charity fun run are reminding people that they still have time to enter.
The Hearts First Jog in Lydiard Park gives people the chance to have fun and help save the lives of people living with heart disease in Wiltshire.
The British Heart Found-ation (BHF) event takes place on Sunday, February 24, but there are still places available.
Andy Coles, BHF event organiser, said: "The support of people in Wiltshire is vital because across the UK, almost 600 sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and friends lose their lives to heart and circulatory disease every day.
"The charity is committed to preventing lives being devastated by the disease and its research has helped save many lives but it needs ongoing support.
"Have fun and get your own heart pumping by taking part in our Hearts First Lydiard Park Jog.
"There is something for everyone, so sign up today.
"Your money will help save lives in Wiltshire."
The jog is suitable for families and running enthusiasts alike.
It offers a choice of 3k, 6k or 9k routes through the beautiful grounds and parkland of the historic Lydiard House.
All the money raised from the sponsored fun run will go towards helping the BHF save and improve the lives of the millions of men, women and children affected by heart disease.
The jog starts at 11am and costs £10 in advance for adults and £5 in advance for under 15s. Adult entry fees are £15 on the day.
Under 16s are welcome if they are fully supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
There will also be a prize for the individual participant and the team that raises the highest amount of sponsorship and returns it to us by May 30.
