They look up to the sky
And see aeroplanes going by
They cannot hear a sound
Then they look all around
See birds flapping their wings
But cannot hear them sing
They see the shaking of the trees
But cannot hear the rustle of the leaves
They feel the wind passing
Never hear it give a sigh
They see the river flowing through
But cannot hear it ripple to
Like the sea by the shore
They cannot hear it roar
There's lots of sounds they cannot hear
That's a problem they have to bear
Now they can have an aid in the ear
Which makes sounds they can hear
That makes a difference to their lives
To hear the whispers and sighs.
