TWO Swindon beauty companies run by a mother and daughter duo have been recognised at this year's British Hair and Beauty Awards. 

Founder of The Wiltshire School of Beauty and Holistic Therapy, Tia Dowman, and her daughter Liv Dowman who co-founded The Beautia Aesthetics Academy won Gold and Bronze respectively for 'The Training Centre of Excellence.' 

Tia Dowman said: “This is such an amazing achievement and I am so proud. My staff work so hard to deliver the most amazing lessons. Our students just love coming to us and, always return for more and more courses and winning this award just proves it.”

The Wiltshire School of Beauty and Holistic Therapy was founded in 2008 and has just gone from strength to strength over the years. Its staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable about their subjects and always training to updates skills.

Liv Dowman added: "We are all so happy and pleased to win this Bronze award. I would like to thank my very loyal and committed staff who always work so hard to deliver the best training and support."
