SCOUTS from Swindon have made the most of their culinary skills to cook up a storm at a competition.
The Wiltshire County Scouts contest brought together district winners from all over the county at the Wiltshire Scouts headquarters in Potterne Wick, near Devizes, at the weekend.
Scouts from Swindon, Marlborough, Wanborough, Laverstock, Sherston, Bourne Valley, Bowerhill and Purton were all represented.
Entrants prepared a three-course meal for four people using only the facilities available at a Scout camp.
And the 2nd Marlborough Scouts pipped a team from the 1st Wanborough to the first prize.
The Wanborough B team finished in third place.
Marlborough and Wanborough Scouts will now go on to represent Wiltshire at the regional event in Shurdington, Gloucestershire in March.
