A CAMERA memory card filled with precious family pictures has been found in a supermarket car park.
The card contains over 100 photographs, including the birth of a baby and a family holiday in Cornwall.
Doreen Wilde, from Nythe, found the digital camera memory card in the car park of the Asda Wal-Mart superstore in north Swindon.
"It didn't look as if it had been there for too long because it wasn't scratched or damaged in any way," she said.
"It's such a shame because these are the sort of things you can't replace.
"There are pictures from when the baby was born.
"I think it's a girl because in later pictures you see the baby dressed in pink.
"Most of the photos show the baby and a man, probably the father.
"There are also two other children, who may be the brother and sister of the baby.
"There are lots of pictures of them on holiday in Cornwall.
"I'm sure they are very important to someone."
The card was actually found last year.
But due to ill health on the part of Doreen's husband it was put to one side and forgotten.
After checking through their own pictures recently the couple found the card and decided to recruit the Adver to help search for the rightful owners.
Doreen said: "We don't have much information to go on but I'm sure the people will recognise themselves in the picture.
"I do hope so because it must terrible to lose your photos of such important moments."
Anyone who recognises themselves or someone in the pictures can contact the Adver on 01793 501801.
